DoduckInn is a business. As such, I was required to pay HST upon arrival. This was on top of the Airbnb charged rate. It was an additional charge that I wasn't expecting and didn't appreciate. It would have been significantly cheaper to go through the DoduckInn website than book through Airbnb.

We loved our stay at the cottage! We were in town from Vancouver for a wedding and this was as about 5 minutes from the venue so it was very convenient! Beds were comfy and the cottage had everything we needed including Netflix ♡ really great spot! Loved the touch of local soap in the shower.

Kelley is a great host and we spent 2 wonderful nights in the cottage! The place is quiet and peaceful, everything was clean and organized there, and we were so lucky that the weather couldn't be better during our stay! Only one heads-up, this cottage only has 2 bedrooms, I thought there would be 3 because the listing indicates 3 pictures of bedroom, but actually, 2 of them display the same room but with different bed setups: one picture shows 2 beds separately, and the other merge the 2 beds into a big one which I thought it was the third bedroom with a king size bed. It confused me a lot, because we have 2 families, 4 adults with 2 kids, so the two bedrooms can only accommodate 4 people, and you have to use the sofa as an extra bed but it's hard to say comfy. We happen to bring a tent, so we set up the tent in living room which was not very bad. Generally, I still recommend this cottage and Kelley!

We had a lovely stay in the Mallard Duck Cottage, it was even nicer than we thought! Kelley is wonderful, the place was spotless, it had ample towels and facecloths, tableware, great wifi, the list goes on. It is a bit of a drive into town but we did not mind, and we enjoyed the privacy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
