A very comfortable home with a friendly and helpful reception. You are made to feel very much at home. An interesting little town to explore.
We had a lovely stay in this B&B. Just what we needed, it felt like coming home. The owners where both really friendly and gave us warm welcome. Nothing is too much and they are really interested. They give you your space but also give you the opportunity to eat or drink with them. Also during the covid they really take care of everything, they keep the distance but not in an uncomfortable way. Everything is really clean and the bed itself doesn't want you to get out of it anymore ;).. The area surround the B&B is lovely, you can hike along and get lost ;) but you can also visit the small villages surround it. We will definitely recommend it and we would love to come back one day to see how the Tea Room works out.
We had an amazing time "chez Gill" !! The place is just prefect for a couple, very tidy and clean with a nice vintage decor.. Gill is very sweet and cares so much for the well being for her guests!! I absolutely recommend to stay in this charming B&B ^^

I am English (my husband Wayne is half Scottish & English) After running our own business in the UK for many years (and becoming exhausted) We now live in the beautiful and mostly undiscovered area of France the Mayenne. Our family owned a house in a local village for 20 years as a holiday home, & we were very lucky to find a lovely house in our favourite village of Chailland a 'Petite Cite de Caractere' It has needed a lot of renovation, which we are still doing gradually (when guests are not about of course) but has a great deal of charm and character which we are trying to preserve and maintain. We try and go away on holiday from time to time B&B permitting and also travel back to the Uk to see family . We are trying to be semi retired but owning and running a B&B doesn't give us an awful lot of time off, However it is very interesting meeting new people and learning new languages & customs. I speak a little French and am still learning.
