Ma famille et moi avons passé un excellent moment dans cette belle propriété nichée en pleine à nature , c'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer. Denis et sa femme sont très sympathiques, toujours à l'écoute et très réactifs. Nous recommandons vivement Courton Retreat.

Courton provided us (family of 6 including 4 boys aged 8-16) with the perfectly balanced week of peace and activities. Denis and Caroline were incredibly attentive hosts, always ready to help and advise. Denis took us on a magical forest tour where, to our 8 year old's delight (and ours!), we saw a grey owl and learnt about the ancient forest. The vast freshwater lake with a beach, catyak and surf board provided hours of fun, swimming and relaxation and the tennis courts and table tennis mixed up the activities! And the house itself was stunning. The photos can't give the full picture of the space inside. Every room was beautiful, with tasteful decor and history. We enjoyed candlelit dinners in the traditional dining room, lunches in the dappled sunlight and drinks watching the sunsets. Every part of the house and grounds had been thought of carefully. Ideally I would keep this place a secret!

Caroline and Denis are the ultimate hosts. From the minute we arrived we felt spoilt by their generous, warm hospitality. The house and surrounding reserve is so idyllic. It's so peaceful and you are truly amongst nature. However, we have three children and there was so much to do, so nature alone wouldn't be enough and there is plenty to keep you occupied. The swimming lake is like a dream. Picture perfect with your own little beach and jetty. Once the rain stopped it was the perfect place to play. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong and tennis. We all loved the walks, especially the walk in the woods accompanied by Denis who gave us a tour of just one part of this huge woodland estate. The house is huge and has everything you need and if it doesn't Caroline I'm sure would provide. What a great 9 days. THANK YOU CAROLINE AND DENIS.

Excellent accueil des propriétaires, l’environnement est très agréable, vaste et paisible. La maison est confortable, bonne literie, l’équipement est complet. Il y a toutes les commodités dans le village voisin. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. Merci Caroline et Denis.
