The communication with Kathryn before and during our stay was great. She recommended places to eat on our first night so we could book and didn’t have to worry about that after a long journey from the south. The Lodge was modern, clean and the beds very comfortable. The showers were powerful too. It was cozy and welcoming and positioned at one end of the smaller of the two lakes . Plenty of crockery and cooking pots and pans etc . Have no negatives about the Lodge at all, which was lovely and quiet. Just a heads up about the Leisure facilities on site. The pool and gym are not free to residents in privately owned lodges ,but you can pay a daily rate to use them. The on-site restaurant gets busy so booking is advisable . We recommend Kathryn’s Lodge for a comfy quiet getaway or base to explore the southern lakes .

I couldn’t fault it. Perfect peaceful location on the site. Lovely view of the little lake. The lodge had everything we required. Real home from home.

A lovely home away from home this week. Despite the rainy weather the view out over the water was incredible. This property was quiet and we didn't really hear anyone else around us all week. A fantastic stay overall
