We had a great family holiday in Kippford. The house had everything we needed and is in a beautiful location. We found plenty to do in the local area even though the weather was a bit windy and rainy at times!
What a beautiful location the views are stunning from the bedrooms. Had the house for my 60th birthday with friends and it was perfect for a big group. Very spacious house despite being dated it felt like home from home. Absolutely loved the house and icing on the cake was sunshine all weekend over Easter weekend 😍
Fantastic and tranquil place to stay, two great restaurants within east walking distance. Spotlessly clean and lots of space for the whole family. Would recommend to anyone thank you for a wonderful stay
Beautiful setting. Communication was faultless. House was as per the photos, dated, but suited our group of friends.
We enjoyed our visit to Kippford. The house is a comfortable period home with all the facilities required. The beds were excellent. The views from the front of the house are spectacular, a little less so for the rear bedrooms. The Wi-Fi worked well for those needing to keep in touch with the outside world. Walks along the coast or into the woods behind the house can be taken from the front door. (Bring your wellies if you want to cross the causeway to Rough Island however.) The local Inns are ideal for food and drink. Four legged friends appear to be welcome everywhere too. A great base for a long weekend in winter.
