This is our second time staying in Mazan and we quickly remembered why we love the place! I’d highly recommend staying here and exploring all that the South of France has to offer. Emile and Anne are excellent co-hosts and made us feel extremely welcome, and we were delighted to be reacquainted with all the dogs! Anne always has excellent suggestions regarding markets and local areas and Emile is extremely responsive and easy to chat to via Airbnb. We were particularly grateful to Anne for hosting us on her birthday! The space is perfect for a couple - spacious, airy, light, well decorated with all amenities. The weather was cooler than we’d visited previously so we did not swim but the pool behind the property (mere steps) is such a luxury. Without a doubt would stay again. It’s the perfect base for travelling around Provence and in such a beautiful and relaxing environment.

First of all there were lots of positives. Anne was a lovely host, she was very welcoming and helped set up a wine tasting experience for us with her son on their family winery. They also provided extra towels when we requested them. Anne and her family have four very lovely dogs. Bedding, towels and crockery were all lovely and clean.The surroundings are very beautiful and it is peaceful. What we would love to have seen; some suggestions in a book to the local area and producers, areas to visit etc. The pool and general furniture could do with a good deep clean, as well as the fridge. Perhaps some curtains that better block the light in the mornings too. Although the area does feel very secure, the door lock to the accommodation didn’t lock because it was broken.

Vanaf het begin voelde het als thuiskomen. Wat een prachtige plek. Het is een idyllisch huisje voor jezelf bij erg aardige familie. Bovendien was het voor mij als hondenliefhebber nog een bonus dat ze 4 schatten van honden hebben. Het zwembad is heerlijk en er is genoeg keukengerei om voor jezelf te koken. Met Roussillon, Gordes, Sault, Luberon national parc, Mont Ventoux en nog zoveel meer om de hoek is er genoeg te doen. Ik hoop in de toekomst nog een keer langs te komen!
