This place really is a dream. The house itself is completely gorgeous - upon arrival we found that it was even more amazing than the already enticing photos. Best described as rustic luxury, with everything you could imagine needing for a relaxing lakeside retreat, and so many charming personal details. The location is unbeatable, a perfect secluded wilderness haven where the frogs will sing you to sleep at night. Whether walking, kayaking, or just staring endlessly at the incredible view, this is a place where you can truly enjoy a rare peace and connection with nature. Claudia was the perfect host - warm, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and ensure we had a wonderful stay. By the second day, we were already talking about "next time" and we will definitely be back again for more of this magic. Thank you Claudia!

Claudia is an incredible host, always available via text and able to accommodate. The property is incredibly peaceful and secluded. The home is warm and cozy with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your own meals. The deck, screened in porch, fire pit, kayaks, canoes, etc….I could go on forever about how amazing this property is. Thank you for having us.

This is THE place to go for total peace and quiet. No other houses in sight, no traffic noise. Only the breeze and the birds to break the silence. We talked, read and relaxed more than we have done in a long time and the view of the lake as it changed during the day left us speechless quite often! The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa. There was everything you need to cook up a feast. Bring what you need as you won't want to leave until you have to!

Claudia has put a lot of thought and effort into creating one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in. Well -stocked and very comfortable with lots of outdoor seating. The location is breathtaking and utterly peaceful. I would love to return some day!

Claudia’s place is magical! We were lucky to get 3 days of sunshine and we kayaked, swam and read on the porch. In the evening we listened to the loons across the lake. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed. Claudia was so lovely and friendly and we enjoyed her fresh eggs for breakfast. This place is so special if you want to get away from it all and soak in the landscape. We will definitely return.
