Old Florida style home, overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay, with its own private beach in the Basin Bayou community. Just a short drive from Destin, Santa Rosa Beach, and 30A. Boats welcome with a boat ramp on site. Local atmosphere and quite living. Nick’s Seafood Restaurant is within walking distance. Private Beach on the Choctawhatchee Bay, plenty of parking, boat ramp and dock are available on site.

Nice older single family residence. Property is a little dated but very functional for a nice getaway. I would not hesitate to rebook in the future.
Oven and dishwasher didn’t work. Some of the chairs need to. E replaced. The grill was not good. All that being said, it was clean and we had a good time. It needs some maintenance. We saw a roach.

Quite community of Basin Bayou, sits on the north side of the Choctawhatchee Bay just west of Freeport. Locals gather and live here, less stress and no traffic.
Drive time to Publix Grocery approximately 15 minutes in Freeport. Walmart is located in Defuniak Springs, Niceville, and Destin and is approximately 20-30 minute drive depending on traffic.
