Our stay in Everglades City was very comfortable. Cozy bed, really nice bathroom and shower. Our host was very friendly and helpful!

There is not enough room here to express how BAD Room 22 is. It is windowless. It is better suited to be a storm shelter than a guest room. It is hazardous. The floor inside the door slants up at about 30 degrees. You can not reach a light switch from the entry door. This is all an impending bad accident. The interior was finished without care or pride. The bedframe is sheet metal and BOOMS whenever you sit down, standup, rollover. Other rooms at Everglades City Motel may well be much better. Room 22 is terrible. There is a space about 4' x 4' that could have been a walk-in closet, but it has no rods for hangers. The AC is extraordinarily loud. Returning from a day biking there was not enough hot water for 2 showers before dinner. There is no dresser. The one pleasant surprise, there is a small fridge. The interior was finished without care or pride. I have traveled the US and the world, this is the worst place I have spent the night at any price.

Not a bad place for a day or two trip. Room seemed renovated recently so freshly painted and remodeled bathroom with standing shower only. Room Was spacious enough for one or two people. Tv, mini fridge, microwave and mini coffee maker. Fan controller didn’t have a battery so couldn’t turn on the fan and the shower head had a hand held detachment but the button was broken and couldn’t be used by hand and only the top wall mounted shower would work, so just a few little things that brought it to a 4 star. But checking in was easy at the Ivy House, staff was friendly and was able to park right in front in unit. Good stay otherwise. Would stay again if in the area
