We really enjoyed our stay in Dunning. The location is rural but a short walk to the nearby village which has nice pubs you can eat in. Beautiful surroundings including a nice table and chairs to sit outside. The interior was a high standard and very spacious. Although our hosts live next door we felt we that we had a high level of privacy. A lovely place to stay.

Unusual but comfortable accommodation. Be warned - the decor includes some stuffed animals. All mod cons, which we made good use of. Lovely, private garden and large, comfortable bed. Bathroom is huge and luxurious. Great location for exploring all the region has to offer and village pub in walking distance.

Just the sort of place we like to stay, lots of history, quirky artwork and unusual features, huge bathroom and homely living space but with all the mod cons, smart TVs, dishwasher, washing machine etc and a super comfy bed. Communication with Suni was great, she was there to meet us and did everything to make for the perfect stay, including arranging some cracking weather so we were able to sit outside in the peaceful countryside at the back of the house every day. The village itself, with 2 pubs, a tea room on the golf course and a well stocked corner shop is less than a mile away down a picturesque lane we never tired of walking down. We ate in the Kirkstyle, gastro pub, twice and tried The Dunning Hotel beer garden on our last night for a cheaper meal. A typical locals pub, the beer garden in The Dunning was fun, the meal tasty and a great pint.

Great place, beautiful location. Unfortunately the weather was pretty terrible but we had a cosy time with the log burner and lots of books. Very well-equipped kitchen and the place was spotlessly clean.
