My husband and I spent our one year anniversary at the Surf Bus and it was absolutely perfect. The location is great, walking/biking distance from literally almost everything. BUT, the Surf Bus itself is a gem on its own. Chelsea has curated and crafted a special atmosphere here and didn’t skip on any of the details. From twinkly lights to cool art/decor to cozy robes for cooler temperatures, we never wanted to leave her charming space! Chelsea is the hostess with the mostess. She is very friendly and accommodating. She also helped us with navigating the ferry and the bus itself. It’s you’re visiting Okracoke you won’t want to miss the experience of staying at the Surf Bus! We will definitely be back! ☺️

An incredible stay! The place is more beautiful in person and Chelsea thought of everything to help us enjoy our stay. Chelsea was also super flexible and accommodating with turbulent weather and ferries. 11/10 recommend and hope to be back soon!

Awesome schoolie! So fun to stay in such a unique space. Loved the outside shower and bathroom. Would def stay again.

Our second time staying at the Surf Bus! Everything was great, we had a wonderful time at the annual pirate festival. Chelsea was very communicative like always! We will definitely be back, our new favorite place to stay when we visit Ocracoke!
