This was a unique experience, I really liked it. If you are looking for a luxury accomodation, this place isn't for you. But if you want to connect with local type of living, atmosphere and kindness, I strongly recommend to stop here. Location is out in the beautiful Serbian landscape and is close to Uvac canyon (approx. 1 h drive). You will get a very cheap but still comfortable and clean enough accomodation. Host speaks only Serbian but you can have fun with translate app and can discuss everything important. I really enjoyed beind there.

Though you need to speak basic Serbian to talk to the host, but don't worry because without any language knowledge you can get on well with him. If you are looking for peace and quiet then Vila Medo is your airbnb of dreams. Pre-warmed rooms, beautiful location, delicious pears, calm.

My stay in Vila Medo was unique: Miloje, the owner did everything to make me feal confortable. The place is like a refugee in a virgin nature far from massive tourism... Hope to come back one day and discover further more the inumerous hiking possibilities as well as the silence!

My stay at Vila Medo was something I’ll never forget. The beauty of the surroundings were only surpassed by the generosity and hospitality of the host. I was a bit hesitant to go as a solo female traveler, but in the end I felt safe and protected. The host gave me a key to my room and also one to the entire house in which I was staying. If you’re not too tired, the host is very friendly and enjoys learning about other cultures.
