We really enjoyed meeting Martin and staying at his fabulous and beautiful flat !!! Very upscale , well designed, meticulously clean and super comfortable!!! The flat was very private (totally separate apartment) and quiet. It’s much larger and more extensive and upscale than evident in the photos. Lots of storage, plenty of great lighting (reading lamps on both sides of the bed) , nicely decorated and well thought out for maximal comfort and convenience. Martin was a total sweet heart, very warm , welcoming and super accommodating… including purchasing a coffee maker and fan after we had just made an inquiry about them. We also appreciated his kindness and support when my husband was not feeling well. The flat is perfectly located at the center of all the attractions. Thanks Martin!

My elderly mum and I had a fantastic few nights break in Martin’s place. It was positioned at the top of Henley Street, one of the main streets in Stratford on Avon, with loads of cafes and shops and about 10 mins to the theatre (and I was pushing a wheelchair). The flat is tucked away off the road so was quiet. My mum cannot walk far but could manage the steps to the flat holding the rails (and coming down backwards just in case.) Martin was super helpful when we arrived. We parked in a lay-by and he helped us unload. Then we drove to the next street where he had saved us a fab parking spot less than a minutes walk to the flat. We left the car there all weekend saving a fortune in parking charges. Martin also had a bike locker which we used for the wheelchair to avoid me having to lift it up the steps. RSC play and boat ride were fab and recommend the super walking tour of Stratford picked up at the Swan fountain daily. Plenty of low kerbs/ramps for wheelchairs. Great place!

Lovely apartment in ideal location-very close to Shakespeare’s birth place & within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops and the Marina etc. The area was vibrant by day but so peaceful at night. Martin was a great host - very informative, helpful and friendly. He had stocked the fridge with wine, juice and eggs from his hens -a much appreciated gesture. Will defo make a return visit.

Fantastic location literally seconds away from Shakespeare's Birthplace house and the main shops and cafes, also near station. Set back from the road so nice and peaceful, lovely and clean and fresh, and well equipped too. Great communication from the host, I would recommend this place no problem :-)

This was an excellent place to explore Stratford and the Cotswolds. Martin was extremely helpful in lots of ways, especially regarding parking and recommending places to eat. The flat is very quiet but it is also near most of the main tourist sites and amenities.
