Loved the location of the house, the space, and the amenities. We felt like home! I took advantage of the convenient private office for remote work and we found ourselves cooking more than going out. Parking is a bonus, and our bikes were conveniently stored. Anneli responded quickly to any questions we had. It is a well-loved house!

We had a brilliant stay at Anneli’s place with our one year old. The hosts were very accommodating and generous with their home. We enjoyed the location which is just outside Amsterdam, we hired bikes to get into the city and enjoyed Amsterdam Forrest which is a short walk away

Anneli is an excellent host. Her communication is excellent and there was also a guide book left with helpful instructions and tips. The house is the house they live in so it’s very homely and has lots of space. We were also left some food and bits which was brilliant (milk, fruit, cheese etc). The location is a bus ride to a Amsterdam - approx 15mins with bus stop only few minutes away. You can get off by Van Gough museum and explore. From here you can also get a tram anywhere. Be warned - the bus and tram companies are different so an all day bus ticket does not work on trams (despite us being told by 2 different bus drivers that it does!). However, transport is quite cheap so buying separate tickets is fine. I would highly recommend this house for a stay in Amsterdam if you like going back to a peaceful area after a busy day in the city. We enjoyed the homely and peaceful start and end to our day.
