We stayed for 4 nights at Dolce Evita and had a great time at this lovely house. It s very comfortable and clean, stocked with everything you'll need for a good stay: comfortable beds, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, great kitchen and fab air conditioning! The pool is quite small (but big enough for 2 adults and kids) but lovely and the outside space is great, with plenty of shade but also room for sun bathing. The view is absolutely stunning. I don't think this villa is walkable into Makry Gialos but it's a short drive. The village itself doesn't look great from the road but give it a chance - walk to the beach and there is a lovely promenade of great restaurants and bars with a lovely beach (our favourite in Crete) - free sun beds if you order from the bars and the sea was shallow and warm - perfect! By the way, the villa's owner, Eva, is so friendly and helpful, 5 stars for her help and recommendations!

An incredibly beautiful villa with amazing hosts! The owners, Eva and Nikos, were so generous and helpful and very quick on replies and queries regarding the villa or questions about the local area - I cannot thank them enough for their generosity and patience 😊 The villa itself includes all amenities you would need and the garden/pool area was stunning. An absolutely amazing stay for anyone travelling to Crete. Please be aware that although shops, tavernas and the beach were only a 20minute walk away, it was incredibly helpful to rent a car as the walk back is quite steep. Following on from this, if you are looking for a nice place to have some drinks, I cannot recommend “star bar” near the harbour enough, Christos and his parents who own the bar were very easy to get on with and could always guarantee a good night there (the long drinks were absolute show stoppers)! And finally a taverna called Faros, which served fresh Cretan food with a lot to choose from.
