Let me start by saying that we have always had wonderful hosts and trips through AirBNB and I am pretty laid back. The only reason I am speaking up here is so someone doesn’t make the same mistake. I had four of my executive staff in for a strategic planning meeting. It was all work and we wanted to be somewhere comfortable in a nice setting. Once the host found out we were having a “corporate” stay, the tone changed. I felt like I was being probed for up-charges and services we already arranged. We had a photographer out to take our company head shots and the A/C was set at 72 degrees. Everyone was uncomfortable and sweating, which was unnecessary. Who rents a $5 million dollar home and determines your comfort level? It was insulting and embarrassing to tell my employees. This “place” is great, but the culture was horrible. If you want to be treated like a child, this is a great place. There are other options where you will be more comfortable and treated like a customer.
