We have had a wonderful 2 night stay at Barbara's cottage, it was everything we wanted and more, we felt so welcome, the cottage was spotless, relaxing, well equipped and Barbara is so lovely, she went above and beyond for us during our stay. Lovely breakfast of sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, butter, bread, fruit, tea and coffee for us to use! If you are looking for a stunning, peaceful retreat, away from all the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. Barbara also gave us some of her own grown rhubarb to take home We will definitely be back again Maria & Peter

Barbara, We really enjoyed our time at your Courtyard Cottage. It was very comfortable and you provided great breakfast food items. The cottage had all that we could want, it was very cosy and made us feel very relaxed from the start. The location was very relaxing, but what we enjoyed most was chatting with you and learning about the local area, plus the suggestion to visit Glendalough in County Wicklow. What a beautiful area to stay in! If you’re looking for a stay close by to major cities but far enough away for some peace and quiet of the countryside, this is a lovely option. There is a lot of room on the grounds to roam about, and the guest cottage is very spacious and comfortable to stay in. We had everything we needed and more and were grateful for the foods and drink that Barbara also provided for our stay. She is a very proactive host, with lots of local recommendations and likes to check in frequently to ensure you are enjoying your stay, so if you appreciate that aspect, this is definitely a perfect retreat for you!

Dear Barbara Your place is a gem. We arrived on a grey Irish day and were greeted by your warm smile, cozy house, and inviting bread, butter, eggs, bacon, and sausages. We appreciate the lovely fruitbowl and the beautiful flowers. The bedroom has that 5-star feel to it, with the soft pillows and duvet. Thank you for allowing us to arrive earlier than the standard arrangement. The cottage has the perfect layout for the odd work session with a robust wifi connection. It was wonderful to meet you and we enjoyed chatting about the “home country”. Thank you for the tourist recommendations. Barbara is a wonderful host always making sure her guests are comfortable. We will be visiting Counties Carlow and Wicklow again in the future to explore the area in more detail and will definitely visit Barbara again and hopefully stay in her beautiful 5 star cottage. We loved every minute of our stay.

The cottage was very clean, cosy and comfortable. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom, very comfortable living room with a warm fire which was perfect for a cold January weekend. Barbara was warm and welcoming. I couldn’t say a bad word about the experience….loved it. Ronan
