We were at Memi's for two weeks in Aug-Sep 23. The experience couldn't have been better. The flat is perfect for a couple and the location is very special. If you walk 5 mins east on the street, you reach Melissani cave lake; 5 mins west, Zervati cave. The balcony has great views of the sea and Ithaka. The local beach is also 5 mins away. But I suggest walking 5-10 mins east towards Sami for more options. I recommend hiring a boat for a day (no license needed) to explore the beautiful coast. We also rented a car to visit Myrtos, Kato Lagadi, Agia Effimia etc. and the flat is perfectly located for exploring Kefalonia. But above all it is Memi who makes the experience so special. She picked us up at the airport (same rate as any taxi companies we checked) and already gave us all tips we needed. She made us feel at home immediately, and never takes more than a few mins to reply to a text. Memi was the best host we ever had. Thanks again for all Memi.

Le logement proposé par Memi correspond aux photos pour la chambre, la salle à manger et le balcon qui offre une très belle vue. En revanche la salle de bains est vétuste et la cabine de douche est très petite ce qui devrait être signalé. Elle présente également des traces de vétusté. Le mobilier, la vaisselle, restent très simples, les matelas sont extrêmement fermes. Memi a été réactive et amicale à distance à notre arrivée. Un différent nous a ensuite opposées concernant la casse d’un verre et d’une lampe. J’ai reconnu la casse pour le verre et non pour la lampe que je n’ai absolument pas cassée ! Au final cela m a couté 60€ de dédommagements demandés par Memi et valides par Rbnb. Donc chers membres, faites attention à ce logement car la moindre casse vous en coutera 10 fois la valeur d’un objet ! Je regrette sincèrement cette pratique au regard du prix de la location qui est élevé en saison haute (988€ pour 3 en août). Un geste commercial sur le verre eut été plus clément.

The apartment was superbly clean with a fantastic view. Great restaurants in very easy reach and we loved being in walking distance to Sami beach

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for two adults and two grown up children. The view from the balcony was better than expected. The air conditioning was super efficient. And the location was excellent- a two minute walk to the Melissani Blue Lake (chose your time carefully as it gets very busy but definitely worth a visit). And there was a little coastline within a few minutes walk for a swim with a very good restaurant. You could even walk into Sami via the coastal path if you have the time. . Only one negative, which can not be fixed- the shower was powerful but small. Memi was a wonderful host, and very helpful and good at communicating.
