The house looks amazing! The location is great, it’s quiet and close to Sandown. The house is very spacious, bright, warm and clean. The garden is large, lots of places for kids to run around and play hide and seek. Sylvie was great at giving us a lot of useful information and replied very quickly to any questions. We have really enjoyed our stay!

I have family on the island and we tend to stay in a different area each time we visit. Ventnor was a first for us and is stunning and has its own microclimate, together with this chocolate box thatched cottage we will definitely be back if that's ok with Sylvie

Yes. Stay here. No hesitation. Storybook cottage that is modern and old inside. Sylvie was super helpful, responsive, proactive. Lists a fireplace - and you CAN use it, with plenty of wood (so many IOW places list fireplace as a feature, but when you ask, you cannot use it ). The bedrooms are all clean and great. The kitchens got everything. There are 2 new bathrooms. The TVs are smart TVs, the outside garden area is massive and private.  The dining room has lots of glass and has the sun all day. It’s such a cool spot to sit. There is one general store that is walkable and is open every day, but check the hours - every day has different hours and sometimes quite limited.  The coastal path is an interesting place to walk along, and if you wanted, you could actually walk all the way to Ventnor along/near the shore, only if you were feeling really ambitious. Mostly you need to drive to places, though I can’t imagine anyone being anything but impressed with this place. Well done!
