We had such wonderful time at the Habakkuk House! Ruth is an amazing host. Ruth had lots of extra details that made us feel pampered and special. She had thought of everything. Great place to stay after a Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge visit to escape the crowds and traffic. Quiet area, gorgeous home, beautiful views, and relaxing space. The breakfast was 5 star both mornings. Her "breakfast for champions" sustained us through our hike. I can't say enough about our wonderful stay. Ruth shared multiple activities and easy hikes/walks to fill your time. If you are regular hikers, I recommend Spruce Flats Falls. I hope to return the area and stay with Ruth again.

Our stay at Ruth’s place was amazing! It was quiet, peaceful and the views were beautiful. The place itself was immaculate but the most amazing part were Ruth’s breakfasts! She’s an amazing cook and her breakfasts sustained us through hikes and bikes and all of our adventures. Scott and Ruth were very friendly and hospitable. Would stay here in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Habakkuk House. Ruth and her husband are warm, friendly and welcoming. It was very well laid out as well as comfortable and clean. Ruth is there as much or as little as you need her, which is nice, and I had everything thing I needed. Her breakfasts were delicious and eggs cook just right. I hope to be able to stay there again.
