We had quite a disappointing stay and were surprised at the standards of customer service and cleanliness given the price. I have since written to the hotel and have had my complaint resolved with a part refund so do appreciate that. Thank you to Lewis who has been exemplary. We asked to move rooms on the first night as our room stank of fried fish, it took over a day to resolve this and we were eventually moved to another room for our second and final night. We were told that the room we stayed in had had lots of complaints in the past - surprising that they continued to put guests (paying £250 a night) into this room. Overall things were dealt with chaotically and although the staff seemed to be trying their best, there didn't seem to be much of a management presence and there was clearly a breakdown in communication. The location is fantastic and we enjoyed using the gym and pool facilities. Overall though, would have expected far far better for the price.
