The perfect weekend get away, we loved it

Our first impression was pulling up, getting out of the car and a very nice gentleman immediately said hello and offered information of where to go to check in. We checked in with the owner’s daughter-in-law and she could not have been lovelier. We then walked up to our room and were greeted by this perfect picture window of a breezeway that opened up to the heavenly view of the lake. We loved that all of the rooms in our unit opened right out to that incredible view through a sliding glass door (a patio, if you will). You could roll out of bed and watch the sunrise! The room was clean and neat. Nothing fancy but the king sized bed was the best mattress I have slept on in a hotel in recent memory. The right amount of comfort and firmness. The view is spectacular at all times of day. We got up for the sunrise and watched the sunset while using the kayaks available to us, floating in the bay. It was a wonderful couple of days. We found it very reasonably priced. A lovely stay.
