Lovely farm to stay on. Wonderful spot for a family holiday.

Peaceful. Tranquility. Serenity. We had a great family getaway! The Koelfontein farm far exceeded our expectations! The pics on here do not do the beauty of the place justice! It is quiet, beautiful, very safe. Beautiful. The house is super clean, spacious and awesome for a large family / group. It has everything you need... A home away from home. And everything in it is so interesting... I loved getting so engrossed in its rich history! Everything you see tells a story. And a beautiful one at that! The karoo is super hot in the summer and the large pool is great! The yard is massive, beautiful trees, lots of space to walk, mediate and regroup. Eat Love Pray kinda vibes. It is an excellent destination if you want to get away, switch off and forget about life for a while. I loved the fact that there is literally very little to no network reception so switch off literally means "the telephone number you have dialed is unavailable at present, please try again later!" Loved it!!! The only thing that irritated us were the flies... So lots of candles and tabard (citronella) are needed in abundance. Like a lot! Other than that.. absolute Heaven on earth! Oh and Dave definitely deserves super host status! Awesome awesome host! In summary, it's a YES from me!
