The house was as described and the lake is beautiful. Unfortunately the master bed was not cleaned after the last renter, hair all over sheets, the master bath had brown stains on the wall behind the toilet, and the plates and silverware in the kitchen still had food stains/particles on them. We contacted Kristen the next morning and she sent the house keeper out later that day to clean the master. After an almost four hour drive it was disappointing to not have a bed for everyone in the family to sleep on that night.

This is our third time staying here and it feels like home! We love the house. Lots of space for everyone to spread out, comfortable beds and all the comforts of home. We love the location to have some privacy and yet close to all the skiing, hiking, skating, sledding we want to do. TV didn’t work but it wasn’t an issue for our group. We hope to be back next year!

We loved our stay at the Blue Loon Cabin. Kristin was a very responsive host and we appreciated all of her recommendations for eating out! Very toddler/kid friendly, and we also appreciated the fun Disney books and kids toys and puzzles. We will definitely be back!

The cabin has its magic! It had everything we needed and more. Kristin and Peter thank you for allowing us to share time with our family and have a different experience for new year in your lovely cabin. It’s 100% kids friendly, the children had the best time playing in every room. The basement/tv room was their favorite. The views to the lake from the upstairs room were phenomenal (my favorite part was coming up with coffee in the morning and sitting to look at the lake). It’s a blessing for my family to have shared and make new memories in this beautiful cabin. We will definitely book again in the summer time to experience the fun in the lake. I 100% recommend the cabin if you are looking for a peaceful getaway with great hosts and all accommodations. Thank you again Kristin and Peter, God Bless you always🙏

We stayed at Kristin and Peter’s beautiful home for Christmas this year. It was 8 of us and our 2 dogs. The home was big enough for us all to be comfortable. It has 3 levels with a bathroom on each level. It has a great yard for the dogs to play. The wrap around porch overlooking the lake was one of our favorite parts of the house. It was very clean with super comfy beds. Overall, we were extremely happy and may just book it again for next Christmas as well. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.
