I booked this for my colleague who was working locally and after a slight hiccup was able to gain access to the property. It was beautifully maintained, had everything needed and was lovely and cosy. Portia and Piers were fantastic hosts who were able to assist on the hiccup and any other queries that we would have during the stay. Should we be in the area again, will look at booking the property again.

We hebben een erg mooie vakantie gehad in East English. Thetford ligt moot centraal en de cottage is een erg mooi verblijf. Communicatie met de eigenaar verliep ,ondanks het feit dat hij op vakantie was ,prima Er werd snel gereageerd op vragen over bv WiFi en verwarming. Kortom: een geweldig verblijf gehad. Carolien

I can’t rate our stay at 4.5 stars because the scale is on whole stars only. Our stay was extremely enjoyable. The ONLY mark against the cottage was that the internet was down for the vast majority of the stay. The router in the cottage was on the way out and as a result the internet was operating at a severely degraded level. The property owner was very attentive and engaged with the ISP servicing the unit. They sent a new router but it didn’t arrive in time to be installed for our stay. That was the ONLY detracting issue we experienced.

Very easy to access property collect key from pub opposite. Parking slight issue as event on in local pub. The property was very clean however somewhat tired bed settee does not seem to fold out sufficiently and appears to have had a repair not comfortable or easy to fold down. Cooker old and tired but functional Kitchen equipment limited. Heating good but on last day didn't come on until 10pm no idea why. Very noisy area probably due to event on in pub. Very convenient location Overall positive experience. Thank you.
