This is a peaceful, private and unique casita situated on top of a hill below my house on an organic olive farm. it has magnificent views and the exclusive use of a breathtaking infinity pool. The farm is 'off the grid' with solar panels, a well and a back up generator for electricity which work perfectly. The little white mountain village of El Gastor is 20 minutes away by car and has many little bars and restaurants. There are a lot interesting sites and walks in the region The casita has a very African feel to it. I have a little abandoned dog called Sushi and a cat called Sheba. My farm is registered 'organic'. I enjoy meeting guests, but I also respect their privacy. The Casita with an amazing infinity (salt chlorinated) pool are on their own and out of site below the house. The casita has a king size bed that can be split into singles with an adjoining kitchen, eating space and a shower room. It also has an adjoining chill out covered terrace where you can relax and eat outside. The track up to the farm is sometimes quite rough and steep up to the house, but most cars with high clearance (vehiculo con alto) don't have a problem, as long as you drive slowly. Because I am 'off the grid' and I rely on solar panels for electricity and my well for water I have to be careful not to use too much. It is drinkable, but I normally suggest that the guests fill their bottles with cool spring water from the mountain spring down my track. There is good wifi. The bird life here is extraordinary with griffin vultures, booted eagles, european bee eaters and many more varieties. The area is well known for it's wonderful walks and historic sites.

The pool, the panoramic view and privacy were fantastic. We had a very enjoyable stay and it was just exactly what we had dreamed of. Tikki is very pleasant and super helpful. It is a wonderful location, you obviously need a car, but if you looking for a quiet , private holiday away from the crowds, but close enough to some entertainment when wanted, it is a great place to choose. Thankyou Tikki look forward to meeting you again in the future.

Tikis place is amazing - super remote and extremely peaceful - you can relax to the sounds of the cicadas and the wind and watch the swallows flying over the beautiful pool. It’s quite a long way down a remote and dirt track so be prepared but it’s definitely worth it. It’s very private and we spent a lot of time swimming and just gazing at the view. The house itself is lovely and well decorated and has everything you need. We spent a week and could easily have spent longer. Tiki is a lovely and responsive host, extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend doing a food shop before you arrive as you will not want to leave ! 100% recomend.

My boyfriend and I went to stay at Tiki’s and it was absolutely wonderful….such beautiful settings that by the time we left we were engaged, as my partner decided to propose to me there as it’s such a gorgeous location! The drive there is well worth it as Tiki’s place is so unbelievably stunning. Gorgeous views, total privacy, and she has a very friendly cat, chickens and there are wild birds that regularly come to dip into the pool which was lovely. The kitchen is well stocked enough to make basic meals and Tiki is an excellent, friendly and helpful host. We will definitely be returning, especially as the location is so special to us now.

We had a fantastic stay at Tiki’s place. The swimming pool and the views were incredible and it’s is an extremely relaxing and peaceful setting. Tiki was a great host!

The closest village of El Gastor is about 15 to 20 minutes away by car and is one of the famous 'pueblos blancos' . It has a lot of little tapas bars and restaurants. My favourite restaurant is 'Gastrobar La Piscina' which has amazing food and very affordable. I always leave an information pack in the casita of restaurants and places to visit etc.
There are some beautiful villages around here such as Zahara de la Frontera, Montejaque, Grazalema, Setenil and Olvera. The Sierra de la Grazalema has some wonderful walks and there is a lake closeby which has a few water sports activities like canoeing and paddle boarding. If you are interested in paragliding there are a lot of schools in the village of Algodonales very close to here.
My closest town is the beautiful historic city of Ronda with it's famous gorge.

There are trains from Ronda to Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Granada... and more. You can take a day train trip to visit the Alhambra in Granada from Ronda... early in the morning and back later in the evening.
There are buses from Ronda to various towns and airports such
as Malaga and Seville.
We are spoilt for walks around here and I leave information and maps in the casita. The closest walks are from and around El Gastor.

I was born in South Africa and lived many years in the UK where I had my family. I bought an olive farm in the mountains of Andalucia about 14 years ago and this is where I now live. I love the life here in Spain and the countryside around here reminds me of South Africa. I speak spanish and I have a lot of spanish friends. My olive farm is now registered 'organic' and I sell my olive oil to a local mill and keep some for myself, family and friends. I have a little abandoned dog called Sushi and a cat called Sheeba. Occasionally I have horses grazing on my land and I am often surrounded by sheep and goats on the mountains around me and I can sometimes hear their bells ringing. My village close by is my family and I love the festivals and flamenco music. Music is my passion. I love gardening and have a small veggie garden. I go to continual spanish and flute lessons every week and enjoy the café life in the villages. I travel a lot, especially to world music festivals and some time ago I did a lot of cycling in Africa. I also had a small business selling African fabrics from Mali and Kenya. My house is very African in style and design. I travelled a lot to Morocco when I was decorating my house. Africa is in my soul. I love having family and friends to stay and I find it very stimulating meeting new people and enjoy exchanging travel experiences and hearing about the culture and music in different countries. I like to share this beautiful home with it's spectacular views and amazing pool. I also respect their wish to be left on their own in peace, but I am also willing to help them with any advice. I speak English, French and Spanish.
