Gorgeous, well-equipped house in a beautiful place with great views. Large beds and great hot showers. The owner was very friendly and communicative on the day of arrival. Best of Wales needs to improve their communication with late replies and ignored requests for the twin beds to be separated, however, the owner was quick to help me to fix this. A later checkout would have been nice, 9am checkout was a bit early for a holiday and apparently this was not a point they could be flexible. The beds were comfy enough, though the mattresses are showing their age and could do with replacing soon. The kitchen is very well equipped and has almost anything you could think of needing. In terms of general cleanliness the house was clean in all the key locations, i.e., beds, bathroom kitchen (generally). Some crockery was dirty and there were some patches in the house the cleaners had missed, such as fruit under the sofa. These were but small niggles in an otherwise lovely stay.

Beautiful setting and home perfectly setup for a family with young children. Log fire added a great backdrop to the mountains on cloud covered afternoons. The location is an ideal spot from which to explore the breathtaking Snowdonia region. Thank you Paul and Wendy!

We had a great vacation. The house was very well equipped. You feel at home. You can see that the owners made a lot of effort to decorate the house. We didn’t have to contact the owners during our stay because everything was perfectly clear and everything was there. Checkin en checkout were smooth. Beautiful location, amidst the stunning mountains of Snowdonia. Very nice views! The house is a bit close to a busy road and the mattresses may be replaced. That being said I would definitely recommend the house to others and we would absolutely go back.

Well converted barn with lots of communal space plus good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen, separate dining area with large table and spacious lounge with plenty of comfortable seating. Picnic tables outside with fire pit and bbq. Amazing views from lounge, kitchen and main bedrooms. The area is very peaceful. There are walks from the house, but generally you need to drive to enjoy the area fully. Lots of beautiful places nearby and fun activities to try. Great place for our family group of 6 adults.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in The Haybarn! A 5* service from start to finish in a 5* house with everything we needed. It was tastefully decorated with large open spaces and lots of room for a family of 8 celebrating a special anniversary. There were special little touches like a welcome basket, board games and books to keep us entertained, although we had mild weather to enjoy the outdoor space. Fantastic air bnb which was better than expected. The hosts were responsive and accessible. A truly wonderful week had by all.
