Had an amazing 1st experience in Napa with my boyfriend. We were greeted with champagne at check-in and got all our info on wineries we were interested in visiting at the front desk. Very quiet, clean, and hospitable resort.

Just got back to the east and can’t wait for our next Napa visit. Michele was very insightful about the resort, info that isn’t printed in the brochures or online. Very personable, and that says a lot when you haven’t even met in person. Check-in wasn’t much of a To Do-we arrived around 6:00 so the queue wasn’t long at all. Champagne was offered but I opted for the water instead as our long day of driving from SF included shopping in Sausalito and Sonoma. If you want a quiet room, request to stay in the Merlot backside, which is away from the pool. We were on the second floor and in a room at the end of the hall. There was a shared private entryway to our room, 3221 and another unit 3222-a nice touch and added security. We strolled through the vineyard at sunrise and followed up with more relaxation at the pool/hot tub. I rarely return to the same resort-because I like to explore all area options, however with this, I’d rebook in a heartbeat if I just need easy breezy.

Communication was/is lacking, and despite how gorgeous the resort was, and everything it had to offer, we had numerous issues and occurrences during our stay that were not and still not have been properly handled. Our host did bot check in to see how everything was going, let alone be acknowledged or valued as a customer when we expressed some of the issues we were having; it made us feel and still feel very neglected and not cared about. The potential of how wonderful this stay could have been, truly would have been great, but again, we did not feel that we were valued as guests or customers through the duration of our stay. I truly hope that things can be made right because this resort was breathtaking and this could be a beautiful place and experience but unfortunately we were not so lucky due to numerous situations.

Michelle was very easy to work with and communication was great. If you like a resort setting with pool and other amenities, this is for you. It doesn't have the charm of some other places or hotels in the Napa region, but it' s perfect as a place to sleep and as a base for discovery.
