Duarte was the most friendly and helpful host we've ever had, picked us up from the airport, upgraded our lodging, showed us everything around, and recommended places to eat and visit according to the day's weather. The lodgings had everything one might need and were very cosy, perfect with the stormy weather we had. It's perfectly placed if you want some calm and to see an incredible night sky Honestly incredible host and place, we'll come back sometime when the weather will be more clement and bring out the place to it's full greatness

Duarte was such an amazing host. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful with all the kitchen things you could need and a lovely outdoor area where you can relax. As well there is a small vegetable garden you can feel free to use. He picked me up from the airport, had a car available for me to rent at a reasonable price, and allowed me to upgrade where on the property I stayed since I was the only one here at the moment. He also gave lots of local food and trail recommendations and was available 24/7 in case of an emergency. Bonus there are 2 lovely cats on the property who will stay and cuddle with you if you like but also have their own separate space should you not be a cat person. I would definitely stay here again.

Antes de mais gostaríamos de agradecer toda a amabilidade e hospitalidade com que o Duarte nos recebeu, sentimos que estávamos a ser recebidos por um amigo de longa data ou um familiar! Infelizmente temos de deixar o nosso paraíso, na Terceira plantado e voltar à nossa realidade, com a certeza que voltaremos! Até breve
