Het huis voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. De beheerder van het huisje was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In de keuken had je alles wat je nodig hebt. Het huis heeft een rustiek gevoel, alles kraakt en piept mischien wel een beetje maar dit stoort niet en past wel bij de charmens van de woning. We zouden het zeker aanraden.

We stayed with 2 families (3 adults, 4 kids total). Visiting Bastogne and booked so we could all stay together. There were pros/cons. Pro: Convenient location, fenced yard, pet friendly, large dining table, easy checkin, allowed early checkin, responsive host. Cons: Listing is hard to find w/ navigation. Linens NOT included. Didn't see this in the listing and wouldn't have booked. Packing duvet covers, pillowcases, and towels for 7 people would have been cumbersome. There was a PDF sent a couple days before check in but we had already left our home. We had to purchase linens, soap, as well as toilet paper our first night (there were 3 rolls provided but it went fast). The duvets provided didn't seem very clean. There are mice. We saw 2 within a few minutes of arrival and there were droppings all over. The shower is either very hot or very cold. Tub drains were full of hair. Trashcan full of menstrual products. Overall the stay was fine, but not hassle-free which is my preference.

Top verblijf gehad met 7 personen en 2 honden! Mooie omgeving, prachtige omheinde tuin (wat een uitzicht!) en ruime slaap- en badkamers. Er was alles wat we nodig hadden!

It was an unique experience which I highly recommend to those who would like to see how it was like to live in a chateau. It is very spacious and well equipped. The garden is big and we even had a barbeque. For a decent price you can order breakfast to be delivered to you.
