It's not often that I can give a 5 star review when we didn't have water for most of our stay. But welcome to Sudan! The local neighborhood pump broke and there wasn't anything that our host Omar could do, other than delivering us buckets of water. We were Omars first guests, and I recommend him and his apartment highly. The apartment has three air conditioned bedrooms and two separate air conditioned living rooms. It was great for our family to have some space after weeks of cramming into a small hotel room. Our host Omar was extremely responsive to our needs, and helped us with all the infrastructure problems that Sudan has. His generator was running most of the week we stayed here. After a tough 10 day trip from Wadi Halfa, this 1st world apartment was exactly what we needed to recuperate.
