Best place we’ve ever stayed in Astoria! What a perfect getaway space with extremely comfortable higher-end furnishings in spacious, private surroundings. The neighborhood location is just 2 blocks from the heart of downtown and within walking distance of the maritime museum and most other attractions. Wish we could have stated longer than 2 nights but we’ll be back.

First off, let me just say that this place is in about the best location possible if you really want to experience Astoria. You can walk anywhere right from your front door. It is also a beautiful room attached to a stunning property. Honestly, I would give this place 5 stars+ if it weren't for one issue. It appears that part of the "cleaning" process is to spray every surface with some sort of room deodorizer. And I mean EVERY surface. Even the silverware and the cutting board had a strong smell of flowery nonsense. It was so bad that we had to sleep with windows open to create a cross-breeze, even though it was 40 degrees and raining outside. It's possible that the guests before me left it really stinky and this was a one-off situation In fairness, I was traveling with someone who has chemical sensitivities but I don't (I've been guilty of using Fabreeze a time or two). But even I found myself with a headache and needing fresh air. Great place but the air fresheners need to go.

This cottage is a romantic gem! So close to everything, beautiful property and views. Super serene and peaceful, it was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend, thank you!

Our second stay at this cozy cottage. We love it because it is private, quiet, and so close to our favorite breweries. In fact, all of downtown Astoria is just a short walk down the hill. To top it off, Trudy and DJ are welcoming and responsive hosts.
