It was wonderful to return to River's Edge and to see Sheila again. The house is very mindful, delicate and beautiful. The location is amazing, with a park and the rising sun on one side and the rushing Corrib and swans on the other. Sheila is a great host, with a very full life and active engagement with the world. Everything is perfect. It was lovely to be there, in this beautiful quiet house with Sheila and her family.

What an incredible location right by the river, with very responsive and kind hosts. It was a lovely room that felt artsy and calming and hosts even provided breakfast in the morning . Galway is an amazing city and I hope to visit again. Thanks for everything!

The family who owns the home have artistic roots in Galway. They were kind and receptive to my first time visit to Ireland. Do ask the hosts if you can check out Nora Joyce (James joyce's wife) museum as they own and run the museum!
