Our extended stay at Woodward by the Beach was simply magical! The layout of the house was perfect, offering both spaciousness and coziness...and stunning design elements! The bathtub was a dream, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the smart appliances were super cool! The S'mores kits & wine were also a lovely touch! The backyard with the fire pit and ambient lighting was an absolute favourite part of our stay, it was especially magical throughout the holiday season. Being just a short walk from the beach was a dream, even in winter. The peacefulness of the surroundings made our stay incredibly rejuvenating. Kevin and Terri's hospitality was exceptional, and we are so grateful for their generosity. Highly recommend this property for an ideal family getaway. We had friends and family visit often during our 6 month stay, and the compliments on the property from them were constant. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Kevin's place was the perfect home away from home - it was beautiful inside and out and had all the amenities we needed for our month long stay. Steps to the beach, great hiking nearby and not far from anything you might need in Midland. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

The cottage is just like in the pictures. Cozy, inviting, practical, and comfortable. It feels like home. The hosts make sure it is stocked with everything guests may need, including a welcoming bottle of wine, maple syrup, marshmallows, full propane tank for BBQ, fire wood, beach chairs, blankets, etc. We enjoyed warm late summer days at the lake. The beach is a short 5min walk, the sunsets are unforgettable, the lake is pristinely clear. Nice eateries at Balm Beach and in Midland. Big grocery stores are in Midland, about 12min drive. The surroundings are very green, peaceful, nice neighbors. Starry, clear skies. A great place to relax with family and friends.

I Highly recommended this cottage. It’s a 5 min walk to the sandy beautiful beach. Cottage has everything you need and more. The hosts are fantastic and accommodating. Hammocks, backyard games and fire pit are just a few things that really made our stay more enjoyable.

We stayed with our 2 little kids (5 and 3 y/o) they loved the sandy beach close by. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you may need. Beds are comfortable and low. Great outdoor fire pit area.
