Our family stay at this particular airbnb was absolutely superb. The home was spacious and exceeded my expectations., great water views, clean, a fully stocked kitchen (meaning glassware, China, utensils, coffee, full supply of paper goods and much more)! Clear and well written directions and information to answer all of our questions. Truly one of my best experiences with Airbnb!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Mary’s lovely home in New London. Her home was sparkling clean and had an extremely well stocked kitchen. We were so comfortable in the bright living room chatting and catching up with our long time friends. It is the perfect place if you enjoy walking along the water, safe sidewalks right to the beach. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms look brand new and clean. Easy parking too!

Mary truly thought of everything! Anything we may have forgotten was provided for us, as well as plenty of items we would have have expected to bring ourselves. The home was easy to navigate with clear instructions and labels, it was clean, cozy and beautiful. We didn’t get to make as much use of the private beach as we were hoping (due to time constraints and an unexpected downpour), but we had a great time on Ocean Beach and exploring New London’s rich history while hopping on and off the Thames River Heritage water taxi at different sites. We learned a lot and even managed to keep the different age spectrums of our kids (16, 13, 5, 3) all entertained and happy! Our only advice is to get an insider scoop of good local restaurants; out of the three we went to for dinner, none were unfortunately very good. We really wanted to go to the Waterfront restaurant, but it was completely booked for the weekend. Next time we will make reservations further in advance!

Mary’s home was immaculate and gorgeous. It’s a really big house with plenty of room and well-appointed with everything. It had everything we could have needed.

Our stay at 511 was wonderful! The home is open and spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. We loved having coffee on the front porch in the mornings and spent a good part of our evenings there too! The neighborhood was lovely for walking and taking in the beautiful shoreline of the sound. Highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit New Lo (as the college kids apparently call it now). It was the perfect spot to visit our Coastie! GO BEARS!
