Mel was a great communicator. The house was well stocked with pantry items, games, firewood for the outdoor fire. Great size kitchen and plenty of bedrooms and Easy walk to beach and shops. Would stay again

The four couples (and 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights at Mel’s place. There was plenty of space for us all to relax, and unwind; with ample settings around the table in the covered outdoor area. We had 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms to choose from. The kitchen is very well appointed with all the crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils you will need to cook up a storm. The home is an easy stroll to the shops for a morning coffee, and the beaches are a short walk or drive away. We will definitely consider rebooking for another fabulous stay.

Mel’s house is a wonderful place for a multi generational family holiday . Big enclosed garden . Spacious, level and v well equipped. Fans in all rooms keep you cool. Outside a covered back terrace and barbecue was great. V practical. Walk to Boomerang Beach and coffee spot, and quick drive to lovely very safe Elizabeth Beach - great for swimmers of all standards.

This place is fantastic. It’s a large, modern, beautiful, home with a big grassy yard in a gorgeous area. The pictures don’t do it justice. A comfortable, spacious, well equipped home that would work for any group. Extended family, young people, older people, teenagers and families with little kids. We stayed with teenagers, my Mum, Aunt and Uncle who are in their 80’s and our old dog. The dog LOVED the large, sunny grassy yard and the ‘oldies’ appreciated the level access showers (there’s a bath too). When our kids were younger they would have loved the trampoline. The kitchen is gorgeous and really well equipped. It’s a v short walk to Boomerang Beach and not far at all to walk to the little shopping village & cafes at Blueys. Mel’s an awesome and generous host. Her responses were always prompt, warm and clear. We’d all love to return and do it all over again. Maybe in the winter to enjoy the two amazing fireplaces. Actually maybe I want to move in! Thanks Mel! X
