Susana and Miguel are very kind and helpful. The place is amazing, a traditional great house in the middle of nature with beautiful scenery. I hope we’ll come back to stay in this big house with ALL my family :) Vali

Stunning country house. I really wished we could have stayed longer. Susanas breakfast was lovely. We were the only guests in the house the night we stayed and it felt like a fairy tale. Kitchen was nice and we were able to do laundry. No problems with parking! :).

The location of the farm is phenomenal. Although not far from to the road, it still retains private and quiet. Full of animal life and nature. Beautifully restored historic and rustic building inside / out. Well cared gardens and a pool. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, so we did not manage to explore the surroundings and question more about the history of this farm. The hosts were kind and took care of our vegan culinary needs at the breakfast they also serve. It is immediately noticeable that they work hard to keep up the farm and it's surroundings. Our room had a malfunction with the wall air conditioning and hosts have offered us an alternative room with free-standing air conditioner. Due to the wooden floor structure the AC was loud, however absolutely necessary for high temperatures. Night swimming in the pool was a highlight. We mustn't forget the playful dog :)

Groot authentiek landhuis in een prachtige omgeving. Vlakbij het dorpje maar toch volledig afgesloten en rustig gelegen door de lange oprit en de natuur rondom het huis. Verwelkoming door Susana en haar grote vriendelijke hond. Lekker ontbijt aan een lange marmeren tafel met zelfgemaakte confituur. En voor een verfrissing ligt het zwembad net naast het huis. Zeker een aanrader!

Si vous recherchez un lieu chargé d'histoire du Portugal (tableaux, livres, meubles....), un contact authentique avec ce pays (les paysages, dehors l'odeur du foin l'été, la piscine, le soleil...) et un accueil généreux et délicat, la Quinta de Susana saura vous satisfaire. Nous avons occupé la chambre Marianne, très propre, literie confortable et la salle de bains attenante est très grande. Susana met à disposition une grande cuisine (gaz, micro-ondes, frigo, évier et de la vaisselle en quantité). La table en granit où vous pouvez prendre votre repas est spectaculaire à côté vous pourrez admirer l'ancêtre du frigo américain. Prenez le temps de demander à Susana de vous raconter l'histoire du domaine et son projet en cours de finalisation. Ce lieu peut convenir soit aux voyageurs de passage vers l'Algarve ou Lisbonne par exemple mais aussi à ceux qui veulent profiter des grands espaces au calme et riches de leur passé.
