Great location in heart of old town, perfect spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of Chania. Four stories, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms in 'tall' house. Bathrooms small but to be expected in this sized accommodation. Host helpful, quick to respond when we locked ourselves out and accommodated our late arrival.

Sehr originell mit den 4 Stockwerken übereinander - und absolut tolle Lage. Eng ist es schon, kräftiger gebaute Menschen werden Probleme haben, vier Stockwerke (die zueinander nicht zu trennen und offen verbunden sind) über die sehr enge Wendeltreppe zu überwinden. Die zwei Bäder sind schon okay, aber doch auch sehr eng und ablauftechnisch abenteuerlich. Zu zweit und für kurze Zeit sehr romantisch und zentral - über andere Konstellationen müsste man gut nachdenken.

Das schmale, vierstöckige Häuschen befindet sich nur wenige Meter vom Venezianischen Hafen entfernt. Die Lage ist perfekt: in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, aber dennoch mittendrin im Treiben der Altstadt von Chania. Besser geht’s nicht! Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich Küche und Bad Nr. 1, im ersten und zweiten Stock jeweils ein Schlafzimmer (das obere mit Kleiderschrank) und im Dachgeschoss ein weiteres kleines Bad und die Dachterrasse. Der Blick von oben auf die Dächer der Nachbarhäuser, den Leuchtturm und das Meer ist traumhaft. Gut zu wissen: Die Stockwerke sind lediglich durch eine recht steile Wendeltreppe miteinander verbunden (keine Türen). Wir haben unsere schweren Koffer deshalb im Erdgeschoss gelassen und nur das nötigste hochgetragen. Dadurch war es in der Küche platzmäßig etwas „eng“, aber zu zweit konnte man noch am Tisch sitzen. Fazit: Alles wie erwartet, angemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und reibungslose Kommunikation vor Ort mit dem Team der Ifigenia Rooms, zu denen das Häuschen gehört.

I'm not sure where to start on how to describe this property it absolutely blew us away. The location is absolutely amazing, 20 ish minute drive away from the airport, and thirty second walk away from the most beautiful harbor. For the price we paid we were shocked at how central to the city we were. You could see the old lighthouse from the terrace. Some beautiful restaurants just around the corner. The Appartment itself was also amazing, exactly as described and pictured. So much personality and very beautiful. The terrace is amazing to sit in the evening and have a glass of wine or a smoke. The beds were very comfortable. The only minor issues we had is getting suitcases up to the top room because of the spiral staircase but it barely effected us. One thing to note is to make sure you are very close with the people you stay with as there are no doors between the rooms due to the staircase. The downstairs bathroom had a door but the second bathroom by the terrace had no door. This again did not effect us as I stayed with my boyfriend and housemates so we are very close but something to note. The hosts we're amazing and were very accommodating, we arrived very late as our plane got delayed and they met with around 1am local time. On checking out hour flight left 12 hours after check out so they were generous enough to let us leave our bags at reception so we could enjoy our last day. Highly highly recommend!!!
