Great place, although there is no air conditioning in the individual rooms. Clean, beautiful property and quiet. The only issue we had was checking in. I got an email prior to our check in day which asked me to send Waco Vacations Rentals my email so that they could send me a check in code. I have never had to send my email to a host since AirBnB provides that information and I have always received check in info through the app/email no problem so I didn't do it and assumed we could just communicate through the app. Well we got into Waco on our check in day after 5pm and did not realize that the property is managed out by a 9-5 business so there was no way to communicate. There is a number to call but it went straight to voice mail since it was after hours. After listening to the whole voicemail, there is a number to *text* if its after hours. They did get back to us through text but there was no communication through the app like there should have been.

This is truly a beautiful place, outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the backyard deck overlooking the Brazos. That being said, there are some things to consider about the location. It is by a body of water in a heavily wooded area. Signs inside the home let us know that they conduct pest control but bugs still get in. I wasn't prepared for the amount of mosquitoes and live spiders we encountered. Bug spray was provided and we didn't spend as much time as we wanted to outside, but we still came back covered in mosquito bites. The location is very close to downtown attractions. The beds were comfortable and we had most of what we needed. I was disappointed that we paid a $100 cleaning fee and we were still asked to strip the beds and start a load. The interior is also multi-level so if stairs bother you, reconsider. Going up and down stairs to use the bathroom and kitchen was good exercise but not quite what we bargained for. Overall a beautiful place but we won't be back.

We loved our stay at this home! It was easy to find and so peaceful. We love the fun, colorful decor, and it made the perfect location for our girls trip! The host responded to anything we needed and made us feel right at home. We would definitely come back :)
