Like every review, very very clean! Was close to downtown, and everything we needed. Perfect weekend getaway little cabin. Also loved the pool late night swim, adults only from 10-11 ! ❤️ Quiet and serene
Very clean and comfortable. 10 mins from the beach and lots of stores restaurants close by.
We loved our stay here and are already talking about booking for next year. Adorable, friendly, located in a GREAT area and the perfect combination of rustic and comfortable.
I can't believe my husband and I paid $160 bucks a night to stay in this dump. We could've gotten a lot more for our buck by staying in a hotel in town. We had the WORST experience ever. Hmmmm. . . . . . . where should I start? First off, the road that you drive to get to the cabin is only one lane wide and there was barely enough room to drive down the road let alone park our car, as we had cabin #5 way on the end. There were cars from the other cabins (some had 2 vehicles) parked all along the road and my husband barely had room to drive down the road without hitting one of them. Not to mention that every time we wanted to leave, he had to back all the way out down the road and try to avoid hitting of those parked cars. Evidently the parking by the restroom was overflow parking for the cabins (which we finally figured out by the 3rd day) as my husband said some of those same cars hadn't moved in 3 days. There was a truck that was parked there every single day in a NON-DESIGNATED parking space. So every time my husband had to back out he almost hit this truck because it was parked where there wasn’t even a parking space. We told the office about this and they did absolutely nothing about it. On the outside of the cabin there were no handrails to climb up the stairs. I have trouble doing this due to having had previous back surgery and just about fell a couple of times due to having nothing to hang on to. The inside of the cabin was super small. We only had 2 people and 2 little dogs and we barely had room to walk in there. There was one bottom bed that was a "full" size (not queen) and the other were 3 twin beds. My husband is over 6 feet tall and could barely fit in this bed. This cabin provided absolutely nothing so we had to bring everything with us. What really was an issue was there were no bathroom facilities in the cabin to use during the night. There also was no sink to even wash your hands. Just a water spigot outside. Also only a tiny refrigerator. Not even a small microwave so we couldn't even cook microwaveable food while staying there. It gets expensive having to eat every single meal out when you are already paying such a high price for staying here. Then there was the issue of the Vacation Station rules. When we checked in we were given a page full of rules that were to be abided by. We were told there were only 6 people allowed per cabin. The people next to us had WAY more than 6 people in their cabin. We told the office this the next day and they could've cared less. They gave us some excuse there were people from another lot "joining them." These people were up and making noise later than 1 a.m. in the morning. Quiet time was supposed to be after 10 p.m. The next day they were blasting loud music from their cars. They also had put up a clothesline on the trees where the rules stated you weren’t supposed to do that. We had to try and dry our wet towels inside the cabin because we were told you weren’t supposed to put up a clothesline. As I stated, we got charged $160 bucks a night for this place when we had NO bathroom facilities in our cabin, NO cooking facilities, not even a microwave. The enforcement of the park rules was a joke. The only thing good I can say about this place was that they let us take our dogs in the cabin and the bathrooms and showers were fairly clean. But we felt the cost we paid for staying in this cabin way exceeded what we got in return. We would've been better off staying at a hotel. At least we would've had close bathroom facilities, a microwave and a nice, big, soft bed....and for a lot cheaper than what we paid to stay in this place. We will never stay at this place ever again.
