Wow. This place is beyond incredible. We loved it so much, and would come back in a heartbeat when we return to Italy. Luca is an incredibly generous host, and the authenticity of the castle is unbeatable. There is so much space, it is so quiet, and so much natural beauty and history everywhere you look. Be aware that Isabelle, BELVILLA (listed as the host here) is not the host, but another company/service that connects to Luca. I would have liked to know that before booking. Get in touch with Luca early before your stay to schedule any activities you're interested in like cooking lessons or meals, he needs some warning.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in de Castello. Luca is heel vriendelijk en heeft ons een uitgebreide rondleiding gegeven waarna we de wijnen konden proeven. We voelden ons thuis in het appartement en we konden goed koken in de keuken. Onze kinderen van 8 en 11 waren ook erg onder de indruk. De omgeving is heel groen en je kunt er mooie wandelingen maken. Dank je wel Luca voor ons fijne verblijf!

We had the most incredible stay at Castello di Tagliolo! The surroundings are stunning and the castle is genuine and with a familiar atmosphere. The apartment is typical rustic Italian and the garden is a wonderful place to eat and relax. Our host Luca was very welcoming and helpful. He arranged a cooking class for us at the castle kitchen and also a nice tour around the medieval castello. Can highly recommend a stay here! The pictures doesn’t do the place justice, it’s even more beautiful in real life.
