Unique glamping-style, cozy stay close to Cortez that’s a cheaper alternative to hotels and easier than camping! Easy to find, short drive to bike trails and restaurants, and clean. The hot shower and comfy bed after a day of mountain biking beats out regular camping any day. Perfect spot to enjoy the dark skies and stars of the Mesa Verde area.

Rustic yurt with very private, peaceful surroundings! We arrived in the evening and were treated to a clear night sky with so many stars. We had no idea how pretty the campground was until the next morning. The host that checked me in was friendly and showed me how to use everything.

The Hogan and whole campground was awesome! We loved the fire pit, the wood stove, and the comfy bed! And the fact that our dog could be there with us. Great experience that we would love to repeat (for more than one night this time).

Wondrous surroundings and a great location! Half-an-hour to Mesa verdes beauty, and so wonderful to wake up to the sounds of nature! We had not planned on sleeping outdoors, and even if we wore outdoors liners from wool and there were plenty of blankets we still were cold at night. Even so, it was worth it, because of the starry night sky and seeing the sunrise over the plain, with the mountains as a backdrop. Highly recommend!
