Beautiful property at the confluence of the Cowlitz River & Butter Creek. 25 minutes from both Mt. Rainier National Park (Stevens Canyon Rd Entrance depending on weather/snow) & White Pass Ski Resort. Surrounded by amazing hiking trails. Walk the short path on the property to the creek and river. Walk five minutes to a National Forest trail-head. Relax at the river beach, build sand castles, or go fly-fishing. Includes a NEMA 14-50 plug for EV charging. Note: The EV charger is shared with our cabin rental. The cottage shares a driveway and is very close to our cabin rental, which may also be occupied during your stay. The rentals are separated by a fence in the front and back of the properties. Both rentals share the main trail to the river and creek in the back of the property. Bedroom and bathroom: - The master bedroom includes a queen bed with a hybrid gel memory foam spring mattress (new in August 2023). This room includes a small LCD high definition smart TV, and ability to stream online content, with a blu-ray player. - The main living room includes a queen size super-high quality memory foam sofa bed. (Somerset Paragon queen sleeper). This room includes a 55" smart TV. - We also have a spare twin mattress that can be pulled out for a 5th person. - There is one bathroom with a full bath and shower. Other areas: - The main living room has a 55" LCD high definition smart TV with Roku, and ability to stream online content. - The kitchen includes a full size fridge, high-end new dishwasher, microwave, oven/stove, pots, pans, utensils, coffeemaker (drip, with filters provided), and toaster. - There is a gas grill outside. - There is a small portable fire near the picnic table.
