Hi, We are Katya & Janek We firmly believe travel is transformative in the way we think, digest the world and experience our lives. We travel a lot and have lots of love and admiration for those who do too. We are truly happy that AirBnb is creating endless possibilities for millions of people to provide unique experiences in their homes for others. We are thrilled to be part of this community and have so many lovely people stay at our house (we know you are lovely because of the kind reviews, the little leave-behinds and communication we experience all through the year). We bought this home about 5 years ago and fully renovated it with the help of our gracious friends, who filled it with so much joy during the process. We had lots of fun doing the renovations and it was pure labor of love. A little about us: Janek is a woodworker and mixed-media designer who designs custom longboards. Katya is a graphic designer who works in the home improvement industry and helps Janek with his boutique brand of longboards. We live in Brooklyn and when we are not traveling, longboarding, snowboarding or doing any other kind of boarding, we cook, listen to a ton of music, and hang out with our super fun son (whose early work can be observed in the downstairs living room of our Saratoga house – back when he drew these, he was really into super heroes of his own making with one of kind powers that we never heard of before). Whether you are visiting family, coming for a wedding, horse races or an annual get-together with friends - we really hope you will enjoy your stay at our simple yet cheerful home!
