This is a summer house which we unfortunately rented in winter. As a result, it was very cold (13 degrees) as it hadn't been pre-warmed and took the entire stay to get to an acceptable temperature. Same story with the hot tub and the swimming pools which we were asked to pay extra but never got warm enough to use. And nothing was done as there seemed to be a lack of coordination between the person running the listing and those on the ground who only spoke Portuguese, making it tricky to communicate. On the plus side, the house is very big, well located, and clean, and probably great for a summer stay with a big group with plenty of kids. But in winter, it's definitely not worth the very high price we paid for it, neither in terms of amenities or quality of service. Go stay at the Sublime instead - it'll cost you the same (or less) and at least you'll be warm.

Beautiful house with everything we needed. Great communication with any issues we had. Loved the stunning rural environment . Though this is obviously an up and coming area in Portugal and some of the restaurants were expensive. Glad we were out of season €45 for sun beds on beach were beyond us ! Beach thought is clean and sandy., perfect for children.
