We have stayed here 5 times and we love it. Disapointingly after our trip this time i had a message to ask for compensation for "extra dog mess" named hair and mucus. I have never ever had this issue before and it was requested to a private account not air b n b. I contacted air b n b and this is not allowed. But my main issue is yes there prob was hair as would be expected. Grass was uncut so had to wipe paws constantly.. None of this warrented extra cleaning money. So BEWARE.

We had a lovely stay. Cottage had everything we needed and was really comfortable. It is on quite a busy road and the garden isn’t secure so that’s something to keep in mind if you are taking dogs Overall a nice place to stay

Really charming cottage ,very clean and comfortable . Everything we needed was at hand .what more can you ask for .we would highly recomend ," the old butchers shop"to anyone .its home from home and iss reasonably priced .

Loved staying here and will definitely be back. The lounge was very comfortable and we used the garden a lot. The off street parking was really handy too.

The Old Butchers Shop is situated in Bramfield, which is a great base for touring the area. The cottage is quirky, very spacious downstairs, clean and well stocked. The 3 bedrooms are small but very cosy with original fireplaces and floor boards. The outside could do with an overhaul but there is plenty of room to park cars off road, which is useful as the cottage is on a very busy road during the day. I would stay here quite happily again.
