I was looking for a last-minute place to stay for a work conference, and I came across heritage house. I had never been to Opelika, and I wanted some thing, quaint and different. I could not say better things about my experience, staying at the heritage house, the Decour and ambience was absolutely amazing. The service was even better and the breakfast was delicious, the heritage house is located in walking distance to downtown Opelika so I spent my time after work at a really good pizza restaurant and speakeasy that were both recommended to me by the owner. I got the chance to meet a lot of locals and I could not have asked for a better experience for my first time visiting Opelika.

This B&B in the Historic District is a must-stay if you are ever in the Opelika area. The home is beautiful and beautifully decorated with antiques. Our room, the Garden Suite, was large with a large private bath and a very comfortable bed. Toiletries, plenty of towels, a hairdryer and even an iron and ironing board are provided. Leif was super friendly and served a delicious breakfast. You choose what you’d like for breakfast at check in and even get to choose what time you’d like it served. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return next time we are in the area.

My husband and I spent a night at Leif’s beautiful B&B for our anniversary. We fell in love with the beautiful house and furnishings! It felt like we had stepped back in time and everything was even prettier in person than the pictures. Leif was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions, and was such a friendly and kind host. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and it was quiet and peaceful even with the other guests there. We hope to come back one day!

This was such a wonderful place for my husband and I to get away and spend time together. The house and property were absolutely beautiful. It is completely walkable to so many shops and restaurants. It was surprisingly quiet and private for it to be so close to so much and in the Historic District. Our fabulous hosts, Leif & Dani, were great! They were super friendly, knowledgeable, available when & if needed, and made you feel comfortable and at home. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the setting was elegant. (I especially enjoyed the yogurt topped fruit- so tasty & refreshing). My husband and I really enjoy B & B’s, but the Heritage House might just be the best one we have ever stayed at. Thank you both for such a memorable time! Kendra & Butch
