‘Luxi’ is a two-story apartment fully and exclusively furnished and decorated. The owners had built it for themselves but then moved to the city as children had to be closer to school. The ground floor consists of a very spacious living room, fully equipped Kitchen, inside and outside dining areas and one small bathroom. Three bedrooms and a big bathroom are on the top floor. There are windows to all four directions. All bedrooms have their own balcony and offer view to the sea from your pillow. Santova Hill is - as the name suggest - at the top of the hill (123m over sea) overlooking the coast of Santova which is so to say the golden beach of Kalamata. The building stands here alone amidst an olive grove about 1300m from the Santova Beach, with only the restaurant next to it. From up here one has unrestricted view over the Messinian Bay to the west, the opening to the Ionian Sea and the peninsula of Mani to the south, the Messinian Valley and the city of Kalamata to the north and the Mountains of Taygetos to the east. You will have the whole apartment to yourself, but you will possibly share the huge outside area with guests from the restaurant (mainly in the summer and weekends) and guests from the apartment downstairs.

We had a great stay. The view is amazing and the very friendly and helpful owners run an exceptional restaurant next door which is extremely handy for dining in or take away. Excellent very clean beaches 5-10 minutes away. Kitries beach definitely recommended for young children.

Το κατάλυμα είναι ολοκαίνουργιο, με πολύ λειτουργική διαρρύθμιση, πεντακάθαρο και με ιδιαίτερα υψηλή αισθητική και ακριβά υλικά κατασκευής!!! Λόγω του σημείου που βρίσκεται έχει υπέροχη θέα από όλα τα δωμάτια του σπιτιού!!! Με τον Γιώργο και την Αναστασία, τους οικοδεσπότες του σπιτιού, νοιώσαμε απίστευτη οικειότητα από την πρώτη μέρα και τιμήσαμε δεόντως και την μαμαδίστικη κουζίνα του εστιατορίου τους, που βρίσκεται ακριβώς δίπλα από το κατάλυμα!!! Συνολικά μείναμε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι και σκοπεύουμε να τους επισκεφτούμε και του χρόνου!!!

Ο Γιωργος ειναι ενας φιλοξενος οικοδεσποτης, φιλικος και διαθεσιμος ανα πασα στιγμη να βοηθησει σε ολα! .Ειναι μια υπεροχη, εξυπνα, διαμορφωμενη, ολοκαινουργια βιλα, απο οτι μαθαμε η γυναικα του εκανε την απιστευτη διακοσμηση και τις υπεροχες πινελιες...στο ισογειο ενιαια σαλονοτραπεζαρια με τζακι και μια μικρη τουαλεττα, κουζινα μεγαλη με ωραια ντουλαπια γεματα χρησιμα πραγματα,με δυνατο ψυγειο με κερασματα φρουτων και τσιπουρου και με μπαλκονια που εχουν θεα τριγυρω στις ευλογημενες ελιες και στη θαλασσα της Σαντοβας,εσωτερικη μαρμαρινη σκαλα, στον πανω οροφο, δυο διπλα υπνοδωματια και ενα μονο,ενα μεγαλο μπανιο το οποιο ειχε τα παντα ως και σιδερο για τα μαλλια και ενα δωματιο ξεχωριστο, πρακτικο πλυσταριο με ολα τα απαραιτητα. Ελαμπε ολο το σπιτι απο καθαριοτητα,σε ολους τους χωρους, κρυσταλιζε τα πλακακια στο ισογειο,ντρεποσουν να πατησεις με παπουτσια.. Η περιγραφη μου ειναι φτωχη μπροστα σε αυτο που ειχαμε. Απλα υπεροχη τοποθεσια πανω σε λοφο,το μπονους ειναι η ησυχη οικογενειακη ταβερνα των ιδιοκτητων διπλα με υπεροχο σπιτικο φαγητο. Σας ευχαριστουμε πολυ για ολα,για τη φιλικη διαθεση νιωσαμε σαν στο σπιτι μας με δικους μας ανθρωπους, να φροντιζουν λες και ειμασταν οι μακρινοι συγγενεις τους. Σιγουρα θα ξαναρθουμε!

This place is very special when it comes to its neighbourhood.
During summer and on winter weekends when the restaurant is open it can be very vivid.
Especially if there is a wedding celebration going on (some Fridays and Saturdays) it can be spirited until early in the morning. The good side of it is that it is highly likely that you and your company get invited and end up celebrating as a guest of the wedding.
In contrast to that, when the restaurant is closed, you will have the whole hill to yourself and will be able to sense a wide, gratifying tranquillity.
Depending on your time of travel and your need for a vivid or tranquil stay, we suggest that you get in touch with your hosts, who can inform you in about expected level of liveliness during your stay.
This hill is the perfect starting point for many interesting excursions to the wonderful and very diverse nature of the area and to interesting attractions, such as Ancient Messina and the unique caves of Dyros.

出行信息

As nice it is to be at a special place at the top of the hill, the public transportation will not reach this area. If you don't use you own means of transportation, the only way to get up here is by taxi, which luckily in Greece are very affordable.

I'm from a family that was always in the hospitality business mainly gastronomy. When we built our own restaurant on top of Santova Hill we also built a house for me and my family. When our son had to live closer to the school we had to move to the city. But the house of the top of the hill is to good to be empty ..... that's how we got to be hosts.
