Torbay is a fantastic place to visit and live, offering a superb quality of life. Home of the English Riviera; the iconic palm trees here are proof of the mild climate! Incidentally, you may notice a few of these exotic palms on our driveway! Ample parking space for your vehicles . We are positioned on a quiet road within close proximity to 'Torre' train station (5 min walk only) and approximately a 13 min walk to the harbour. The house you will stay in here is a spacious Victorian detached villa with a large south facing garden; great for kids and BBQ facilities available on the terrace . Kids play room also within ground floor . Although I am not here a lot of the time now , there will be managers on site to help you where needed. Rooms are of good proportions and some en-suite . Comfy beds . All linens and towels provided . We offer a self-catering continental style breakfast only, but you are welcome to use the communal kitchen to cook yourselves. Here in Torquay, we are famously associated with the classic Fawlty Towers sitcom, Monty Python and the former home of Agatha Christie. In recent times, Torbay has gained much recognition for its rich geological, historical and cultural heritage thus becoming part of the 'Global Geopark' network. There is an abundance of sandy beaches (counted 20) and coves to investigate whilst you unwind. We are ideally located from which to explore the rest of Devon and Dartmoor national park so have fun!
