The four Beechworth Cedar Cottages are located in Australia's finest historic gold-mining town on 2 acres of garden, 900 mtrs from the town centre, 300 mtrs from Lake Sambell beach, & close to the EPIC trail & the Mountain bike park. Note: We are located on the Rail trail. Three of our cottages can be booked as either 1 or 2 bedroom with bedding configuration of King or Single beds. Large comfortable cottage, squeaky clean and I thought nicer than the photos.
Very peaceful location, yet still very walkable to the local cafes, restaurants & breweries. House was left clean and everything you need was provided. The family had a great time and would stay again!
We loved staying here. Walking distance to everything which was handy too. If we come back to Beechworth would definitely here again!

If coming via the Hume Freeway, Beechworth is 3.5 hours drive north of Melbourne, 4.5 hours drive south of Canberra and 7 hours drive from Sydney.
Coming to Beechworth from Melbourne drive along the Hume Hwy (M31) to the Beechworth exit, turn right onto the Great Alpine Rd,(C500) until the Beechworth turn off at Tarrawingee. Turn left onto the Beechworth Rd (C315) continue until you arrive at the township of Beechworth.
Continue through the main street of shops and turn right at the roundabout/Post Office. Then turn left at the next intersection which is High Street. Travel High Street until you reach Elgin Road , one kilometre on your right. Turn right into Elgin Road and Beechworth Cottages is on your right.
From Albury/Wodonga drive along the Wodonga -Beechworth Road (C315) until you arrive at the township of Beechworth, continue and turn left at the roundabout/Post Office. Then turn left at the next intersection which is High Street. Travel High Street until you reach Elgin Road, one kilometre on your right. Turn right into Elgin Road and Beechworth Cottages is on your right.
